PBJ - Performance Basket Jammer All Terrain
The PBJ stands for "Performance Basket Jammer," but it reminds us a lot of the PB&J sandwiches we love so much.
It may look simple, but you can always count on it, and it gives you the power to get through the day. It's truly a bike you can rely on, like a trusted companion.
You can go anywhere on it, even without a plan.
After building several bikes for his own touring and bikepacking, Adam realized that the best bike is one that's fun to ride all day long, leading him to the PBJ design.
The freedom to choose tire size is appealing, but this bike is for those who aren't afraid to push slightly larger tires all day long.
Because the reward for that effort is a satisfying downhill ride.
Sliding dropouts allow for geared or single-speed setups, and it supports rigid forks to suspensions with 100-120mm travel, enabling various setups to match different riding styles.
The handling is familiar and playful enough to take you anywhere.
[DESIGN PHILOSOPHY]
The PBJ was born after numerous trials and errors in an attempt to create the "perfect" touring bike.
Of course, no perfect bike exists, but this bike is pretty good at almost everything.
Equipped with a rigid fork and 2.4-2.6" wide tires, it can be enjoyed as a bikepacking or touring bike with extremely high off-road capability and comfort.
Without bags, it's perfect for fast trails and urban cruising.
Combined with a suspension fork and dropper post, it also becomes a highly capable XC mountain bike, and various setups can be enjoyed depending on the assembly.
Adjustable sliding dropouts allow for single-speed and geared conversions, as well as optimizing chainstay length to suit your preferred riding style.
While incorporating modern MTB geometry with a slightly longer front-center and a shorter stem, it is designed to maintain playfulness and quick, good handling. The PBJ is a bike for fun.

[FIT GUIDE]
The PBJ is designed to closely match the fit of a standard mountain bike. The "default setup" for this bike assumes 29x2.6" tires, a 35-50mm stem, and comfortable swept-back handlebars like SKLAR BIKES' PBJ handlebars. Each size also considers a range of saddle heights, but of course, when it comes to mountain bike fit, some riders may size down for more agile handling or size up for more stability.
Based on the intended saddle height for each PBJ size, measure the saddle height of your current bike to check the frame's size feeling.
| Frame Size | Intended Saddle Height |
| X-Small | 590- 650mm |
| Small | 640 - 685mm |
| Medium | 675 - 740mm |
| Large | 730 - 790 mm |
| X-Large | 780 - 810 mm |
*Measured from the center of the BB to the top of the saddle's center.
