I created this artwork with the image of field mice and hares offering a large ritual wand they made to the village shrine. I poured into it the feeling that the desire for peace in this world is the wish of all living things.

Born in Tokyo. From a young age, he was absorbed in making plastic models, creating objets d'art, painting, and skateboarding, spending his teens and twenties as a professional skateboarder. Currently, he works as a painter, tattoo artist, and skateboarder both in Japan and overseas, presenting his works at solo and group exhibitions annually, while also providing artwork to various companies and brands. At the core of his creative process is a respect and admiration for Japanese painters who were active from the Edo to Meiji periods, and his life's work primarily involves researching and inheriting the spirituality and painting techniques of Kawanabe Kyosai.
