Carnauba wax, used in carnauba waxes, has the highest hardness and melting point among plant-based waxes, giving it a strength comparable to that used in automotive waxes.
Carnauba wax has a very high melting point of 82 degrees Celsius. Compared to beeswax (melting point 62 degrees Celsius), once dry, it leaves a smooth, non-sticky finish on the surface.
This 100% natural ingredient wax, blended with linseed oil, is formulated to be ideal for applying to wood products.
Applying it brings out the character of the wood.
Carnauba wax creates a film on the wood's surface, while linseed oil penetrates the wood, providing long-lasting water repellency and protecting the wood.
It can be used on knife handles, as well as spoons and trays made of solid wood or laminated wood. Of course, it can also be used on furniture.
※Please note that it cannot be used over chemical coatings such as varnish or lacquer.
It can be used for maintenance on unpainted or naturally oiled wood.
