Surly's fixed gear cogs are machined from SCM415 chromoly and hardened for wear resistance.
The design has also been revamped to increase the contact area with the hub body, thus increasing the threaded surface.
Threaded to ISO standards (1.375" x 24tpi), these cogs fit most hubs, including Surly's fixed gear hubs.
