Flexibility
While standard inner cables are typically made by twisting 19 strands, this product is composed of 31 strands.
This makes it more pliable and flexible than conventional products, easing installation when routing around the handlebars is tight, as is common today. It also lightens steering feel.
Durability
Compared to conventional cables, it is more tightly twisted, resulting in less stretch and superior load resistance.
It has undergone pre-tensioning (a process where force is applied beforehand to reduce initial stretch, thereby minimizing elongation after installation).
Low Friction (Light Pull)
The cable surface is ground to a near-perfect circle (slick treatment) and then given a special electrodeposition coating. This results in lower friction than simply slick-treated or PTFE (Teflon) coated cables.
Furthermore, the coating is highly resistant to peeling, ensuring long-lasting light pull. This is considered the best inner cable currently available.
