These are tubeless-ready tires (meaning they can be made tubeless by adding sealant).
While it's possible to use them with inner tubes, to get the best performance from the tires, we recommend riding them tubeless.
The tires come in two sizes: 700x36C and 700x40C. For the Panasonic CX, a popular model at Grumpy, 36C is recommended. Some say the 650B era is over, so instead of building 650B wheels now, try using 700C wheels with these Boken tires.
Recommended tire pressure is 2.5 to 4.0 bar. For on-road riding, use a higher pressure for a nimble feel, and for dirt, use a lower pressure for better grip.
Surprisingly, these tires are also recommended for the Shimanami Kaido, despite its rough road surfaces.

If you are currently using Velocity's Aileron 700C or Mavic's Open Pro Disc UST, you can use these tires. In that case, make sure to prepare tubeless-specific rim tape, tubeless-specific valves, and sealant for your rims.
