Why do we make chainrings when there are so many available on the market? Because stainless steel chainrings are tougher than aluminum ones.
In single-speed or tandem setups, where chain wear is not distributed across multiple rings, our stainless steel rings outperform aluminum in terms of durability and performance.
While they can be used with geared setups, they lack ramps or pins, so the shift-up response (to the middle or outer ring) might be slightly less responsive than what you are currently using.
The rings themselves are compatible with 6-speed to 9-speed chains. 10-speed chains might feel tight for a while after installation and riding.
