Installation Instructions
1. Loosen the 3mm hex key on the lockring.
2. Remove the Monarch grip from the bar and remove the lockring.
3. Reattach the new clamp, using the L and R marks engraved above the hex key to ensure the correct side is on the correct grip.
4. When correctly installed, the flat edge of the lockring should touch the rubber of the grip, and the hex key should face the rider.
5. Reinstall the grip following the grip installation instructions.
6. Go ride!

What are PEATY'S MONARCH GRIPS?

These grips are the result of downhill legend Steve Peat's decades of experience as a downhill racer and 18 months of design development.
During the development period, we surveyed over 1,000 riders about their grip preferences and dislikes, tested countless grips, set up an in-house 3D printing and molding workshop, and spent hundreds of hours thoroughly testing and refining the fine details down to 0.25mm.
The result is a grip design with an offset and tapered core, a tapered grip profile, a soft 20a compound, a slim 8mm clamp, a unique zigzag pressure relief thumb pad, high-grip finger bars (cut on the inside rather than the outside), and two texture options and two thickness options.
