Controllable KNURL TEXTURE
This firm, classic shape has been used as a grip texture for tool handles for over 100 years. Each "knurl" is diamond-shaped and sharply pointed. These sharp tips provide grip, and a shallow profile provides a sturdy base, creating incredibly positive feedback. Compared to mushroom textures, control is improved. This grip is a racer-friendly texture for an aggressive feel and precise control.

・High-grip finger bars are cut inwards to maximize bar grip and feel
・80% marine recycled plastic tapered core fits the bar to prevent grip slip
・Half flange and pinky ramp clearly indicate where the bar edge is
・130mm grip area, slim 8mm locking clamp and 3mm Allen key bolt

What are PEATY'S MONARCH GRIPS?

These grips are the result of decades of experience as a downhill racer by downhill legend Steve Peat, and 18 months of design development.
During the development period, over 1,000 grip preferences and dislikes were surveyed, countless grips were tested. In addition, an in-house 3D printing and mold workshop was established, and through hundreds of hours of testing, the fine details were thoroughly tested and refined in 0.25mm increments.
The result is a grip design with an offset and tapered core, tapered grip profile, soft 20a compound, slim 8mm clamp, unique zigzag pressure relief thumb pad, high-grip finger bars (cut inwards instead of outwards), two texture options, and two thickness options.
