Comfortable MUSHROOM TEXTURE

The "Mushroom" texture gets its name from the way it resembles the gills on the underside of a mushroom, a design that has been around for ages. For decades, it has been used in BMX grips, demonstrating its ability to absorb impact. Each fin of the Mushroom texture is spaced equally with a gap that is the same width as the fin itself. This is essential to allow the fins to compress against the hand and flex into the adjacent space. This results in a more comfortable, flexible, and impact-absorbing texture. The users of this grip can range from trail cruisers seeking maximum comfort to top riders looking to soften the impact of hard rock gardens and flat landings.

What is PEATY'S MONARCH GRIPS?

These grips are the result of downhill legend Steve Peat's decades of experience as a downhill racer and 18 months of design and development.
During the development period, over 1,000 riders were surveyed about their grip preferences and dislikes, and countless grips were tested. Furthermore, an in-house 3D printing and molding workshop was set up, and through hundreds of hours of testing, fine details were thoroughly tested and refined in 0.25mm increments.
The result is a grip design featuring an offset & tapered core, tapered grip profile, soft 20a compound, slim 8mm clamp, unique zigzag pressure relief thumb pad, high-grip finger bars (cut inwards rather than outwards), two texture options, and two thickness options.
