The Neo-Retro is a wide-profile cantilever brake designed based on the geometry of the famous Mafac Tandem brake.

It is machined from lightweight 6061 aluminum.

The T-shaped cross-section prevents the brake from flexing significantly under load.

The brake pads are mounted in slots on the arms, allowing for vertical positioning.

Additionally, spherical washers are installed in the brake pad screw holes, allowing for fine-tuning of toe-in and angle.

The long arms provide mud clearance, making them ideal for cyclocross.

For smaller frames or when panniers are installed, a narrower touring cantilever brake is recommended.
