By changing the coil material to an aluminum alloy, we have achieved ultra-lightweight construction, with the weight reduced by about half compared to existing iron or stainless steel products. The weight per meter is approximately 27g.
If about 2m is used for one bike, this product weighs 55g, which is less than half the weight of a typical iron brake outer cable (115g).
During development, we referred to the aluminum outer cables previously manufactured by CLB of France. As a result, an ultra-lightweight brake outer cable was born that has a vintage appearance but offers the same operability as current brake outer cables. Despite being ultra-lightweight, another feature is its high convenience, as the installation method is the same as a normal brake outer cable.
Four lightweight aluminum outer caps are also included.
