The Capture product, which emerged from this, was a revolutionary solution to the founder Peter Dering's frustrations with outdoor photography. "When I wanted to take a picture while skiing, I had to stop, stick my poles in the ground, unclip my backpack straps, take it off, and get my camera out. Then do the reverse when I was done... I couldn't do that every time. The moment I wanted to capture would pass quickly." From this experience, he conceived, designed, and produced a product that allowed instant, easy, and secure access to a camera at any time.
With funding from many people around the world who shared similar frustrations, the product was successfully commercialized. Today, Capture has undergone several updates and is loved by outdoor photographers and people worldwide.
