The Racer Medium is a slimmer brake that provides excellent stopping power.

Thanks to its very stiff and short arms, you can finely adjust the stopping power.

The Racer Medium is available in both center-mount and braze-on versions.

The Braze-On Racer Medium attaches to center-pull brake bosses (located at a certain width and distance from the axle) on the fork or seat stays.

Please note that it cannot be attached to brake bosses in standard cantilever positions, nor is it compatible with U-brake bosses.

The center-mount version of the Racer Medium adds a bridge part between the pivots and can be attached to frames with a single brake mounting hole above the tire.

It uses short recessed bolts (with recessed mounting nuts) to accommodate modern frames.

The Racer Medium has a brake reach of 47mm to 57mm.

All necessary hardware is included, such as mounting bolts, straddle wire, cable carrier, and Salmon Kool-Stop Thinline brake pads.

There is sufficient clearance between the arms to install 45mm fenders and 32mm wide tires.

This combination is ideal for an all-around road bike.

Furthermore, it doesn't pinch the sides of fenders like dual-pivot brakes.
