For many years, bicycle multi-tools remained unchanged. They were boxy, difficult to maneuver, bulky, and heavy. This had been a long-standing headache for me, but now, finally, I've arrived at a solution.
This newly developed multi-tool, called "Sardine," is stick-shaped, lightweight (only 38 grams!), and, most importantly, easy to use. Its shape allows for quick spinning when straight, reducing working time. And without needing to swap, turning it 90 degrees allows you to apply torque to loosen or tighten bolts.
The four tool bits move freely, allowing them to be used at any angle, making it possible to work in tight spaces, such as when attaching or detaching bottle cages or saddles. By reversing the tool 180 degrees, you can work quickly and apply torque.
We deliberately narrowed down the tool bits to five types: Hex 6, 5, 4, 3, and Torx T25. These are the most frequently used during rides. Additionally, a chain cutter and smaller hex keys are more convenient to carry separately.
A dedicated holder is included. It can be attached to the bottle cage mounting holes. The holder has two parallel holes, allowing you to choose according to the thickness of your frame.
Please also note that carrying it directly in your pocket could lead to injury in the event of a fall.
