GIRO focused on three elements when designing shoes optimized for flat pedals.
The first was to reduce the stack height (the distance between the pedal and the foot) for better bike control.
The second was to reduce the drop in the toe area to provide a better feel for pedal contact.
And the third was to increase the sole width for enhanced stability and comfort.

The midsole uses Mute(TM) Foam to dampen subtle bounces and impacts.
The outsole features GIRO's proprietary highly elastic Tack(TM) Rubber, with a unique cobblestone-like tread pattern that provides firm grip on pedals and trails.
