Ideal Waterproof Spray

This is a fluorine-based water repellent spray made with water and vegetable oil.

It creates a water-repellent layer on the leather surface, like wearing a raincoat, preventing the saddle from losing its shape due to rain or sweat.

Using it on a saddle that hasn't aged yet can enhance its color and luster.

As it is a CFC-free product, there is no concern about its impact on the environment, in addition to the leather.

[Usage Precautions]
Always make sure the saddle is dry when cleaning it.

Applying waterproof spray to a wet saddle or adjusting the tension of the seat may cause it to lose its shape, so please avoid doing so.

Furthermore, even for a saddle that has undergone full maintenance, it is important to thoroughly wipe off moisture and allow it to air dry after riding in the rain.

The effect is further enhanced when full maintenance is performed using a combination of IDEALE's Waterproof Spray and Saddle Grease.

For everyday maintenance, saddle grease is sufficient, but if you want to further enhance the water repellency, it is recommended to use it in conjunction with the waterproof spray.

【How to Use】

After applying saddle grease, spray the waterproof spray. (It is most effective to spray after 12 hours or more have passed since oil care.)

Spray 5-6 times evenly over the entire saddle from a distance of 30 cm.

For better results, let it dry completely and then spray again in the same way.

Spraying the underside of the saddle in the same way will further enhance the effect.

After spraying evenly over the entire saddle, allow it to air dry until the next day to form a water-repellent layer on the saddle surface.

※If you cannot leave a 12-hour interval, you may apply the spray after the grease has completely dried, but please note that in this case, the water repellent effect will be weaker than usual.
