The R5 has been completely redesigned.
Achieving a complete bike weight of 5.97kg (size 56, assuming SRAM RED XPLR), it is approximately 400g lighter than the previous model.
The frame alone weighs approximately 657g (painted, size 56), and the fork has also been significantly lightened.

In addition to being lighter, consideration has also been given to "rigidity and ride comfort" and "aerodynamic performance."

• BB rigidity has improved by approximately 13% compared to the previous model. This ensures a responsive feel, where pedaling power is firmly transmitted "forward."

• The rigidity around the head has been slightly reduced to maintain comfort even during long rides.

• Furthermore, aerodynamic performance has improved by approximately 2W compared to the previous model. It is a modern road bike that balances lightness and aerodynamics.

In addition, it has become "race-ready" with the latest components.
It uses a one-piece bar (HB18 carbon integrated handlebar/stem). This has achieved a weight reduction of approximately 134g compared to the conventional two-piece structure.
The tire clearance is a maximum of 34 mm. Designed for 29C tires, it is suitable for road races, long rides, and mountain passes.
