Cervélo, constantly pushing the limits of aerodynamic performance, has introduced the new "Áspero-5," poised to revolutionize gravel racing. Incorporating over 30 years of Cervélo's accumulated aerodynamic expertise, it boasts a 37-watt power improvement over its predecessor and a 34-watt lead over its closest rivals. This is truly the fastest bike in gravel history.
It also comes equipped with practical features such as a maximum tire clearance of 45mm, downtube storage, and a threaded bottom bracket. This model is ready to race straight from the shop floor.
At the World Championships, UCI Gravel World Champion Marianne Vos claimed the rainbow jersey. Top-class racers worldwide will continue to ride the Áspero-5 to victory.
◆DOWNTUBE STORAGE
Cervélo's unique downtube storage door, first introduced on the P-series triathlon bikes, has been adopted for the Áspero-5. This system, the lightest and most aerodynamic on the market, neatly stores tubes, tools, and puncture repair kits within the frame, minimizing drag.
◆SHAPE OF SPEED
The Aspero-5 is 37 watts faster than its predecessor and 34 watts faster than its closest rival. True to Cervélo's reputation for aerodynamic performance, this is a bike designed specifically for gravel racing.
The newly designed aero handlebar and stem alone reduce aerodynamic drag by approximately 6 watts. By meticulously focusing on every detail, we have perfected the "shape of speed."
◆MIXED & MATCHED TIRE GEO
When equipped with the same size tires front and rear (e.g., 42mm front and rear), the Áspero-5 offers stability, confident handling, and performance capable of tackling rough terrain.
Furthermore, to enhance aerodynamic performance and sharpen handling on less technical courses, the geometry has been designed to accommodate a 4mm tire width difference between front and rear (e.g., 40mm front / 44mm rear).
◆WEIGHT
Despite significantly increasing surface area for enhanced aerodynamic performance, the new Áspero-5 is 66 grams lighter than its predecessor.
