BEDROCK SANDALS moved their base from Oakland, California, to Missoula, Montana, where a richer outdoor feel abounds. However, the harsh winters there made it difficult to get through the year with only sandals. As a result, they needed footwear that offered comparable functionality to their other sandals but could also keep them comfortable in winter. This led to the development of this particular pair.
