ASSOS Summer Skin Layer P1 GRY (O-Neck)

Summer base layer that controls sweat during your ride and reduces uncomfortable stickiness

When riding a road bike at 30km/h, wind is said to be the biggest resistance, and about 75% of that wind is said to be received by the rider themselves.

As the wind constantly hits the rider's body, "evaporative cooling" occurs when sweat (moisture) dries during the ride.
ASSOS believes that an inner layer is necessary to prevent this evaporative cooling.

The SKINLAYER P1 is made with a seamless construction, using the same special knitting method as socks.
By minimizing seams, it achieves a comfortable fit that prevents discomfort even when wearing a jersey over it.

In the short-sleeve model, the entire fabric on the back has a textured structure, with convex surfaces that absorb sweat from the skin and concave surfaces that draw in air, making it difficult for the garment to stick to the skin even when sweating profusely.

The round neck (O-neck) design makes the neck less visible when wearing a jersey and also helps to retain warmth around the neck. It gives a more classic impression than a V-neck and does not interfere with the color or design of the jersey.

While the fabric composition remains the same, it has been made 15% lighter.
