The frameset for the versatile all-road bike, the OTSO Warakin S, has arrived.

Otso Cycles' popular Warakin S (Warakin Steel) frames from Minnesota, USA, are now in stock in all colors and sizes.

The Warakin S is a versatile all-road bike model that isn't restricted by how or where you use it.

Forget about the "this bike is for X" or "you must wear Y when riding it" mentality. Just ride and have fun freely!

You can also find cool custom Warakin S builds on OTSO's Instagram page, which can be a great reference!

The Warakin S can handle extraordinary adventures like long rides over 100km, or bike packing trips with heavy loads for camping, as well as the heavy-duty demands of daily commutes.

It's not just a bike for riding; it's a versatile companion that can be enjoyed with various activities, regardless of genre. It's great for playing, great for riding, and it's surprisingly rare to find something that excels at both.

*49cm is for 650B wheel size.

The frame is made of steel, and the fork is made of carbon. It has multiple mounts for fenders and racks, and a tire clearance of 50mm, making it incredibly versatile.

And, speaking of the Warakin series' unique features, there's this!

The "Tuning Chip Rear Dropout System" is an adjustable rear dropout.

It allows you to adjust the wheelbase by up to ±10mm (a total of 20mm), so you can change the bike's characteristics to suit your preferences as a rider.

・Rear position (longer wheelbase)
→ For stability and comfort, suitable for rough forest roads and long rides.

・Front position (shorter wheelbase)
→ For quick handling, suitable for city rides and CX (cyclocross).

・Center position
→ A versatile option for a balanced enjoyment of both.

That's the general idea.

From spring to autumn, when the days are longer, you might set it to the rear position for long rides or brevets. From autumn to winter, when there are fewer bugs, you could change the position for exploring forest roads or historical sites. It's a great option to adjust the position according to the season.

Additionally, if you prepare a single-speed conversion kit separately, you can achieve a clean single-speed setup.

The frame also has internal cable routing for a dropper post, allowing for a clean seat area.

Also, it's a minor detail, but the front fork is carbon, and the cables are "external."

While many carbon forks use internal cable routing, this external routing is quite rare.

However, it's a really helpful specification for those who do their own maintenance!

The WARAKIN S is a combination of a steel frame and a carbon fork, but if you want something even lighter, there's also the WARAKIN Ti option.

This one features a titanium frame and a carbon fork.

The specifications for each part are the same as the steel model.

The titanium model is truly a bundle of romance. Its subdued shine is irresistible.

If you're looking for a versatile bike that you can use for a long time, be sure to check out the OTSO WARAKIN series!

If you're building a steel model, a complete bike would likely cost around 500,000 to 600,000 yen.
