MTB and drop bars combined! The KONA LBF demo bike is ready for test rides.
KONA's long-awaited new bike, the "LBF," has arrived! We also have a test ride bike available.

Here's a promotional video for the KONA LBF. This bike can do all of this.
The Kona LBF is a unique bike that features drop bars while offering the off-road capability of a full-fledged mountain bike.
It's not just a gravel bike with wider tires – it's much more than that.
This mountain bike is specifically designed for drop bars and is also suitable for bikepacking and touring.

The frame is made of chromoly, and the fork uses a RockShox SID suspension fork (100mm travel) derived from XC mountain bikes.
This model is fully equipped for off-road riding, from gravel to trails.

The tires are 29x2.4-inch Maxxis Dissector (front) / Forekaster (rear) from the MTB series, and the wheels feature Race Face ARC Asymmetric rims with Boost hubs.

Also noteworthy are the brakes.
It combines SRAM Apex drop bar levers with powerful SRAM G2 4-piston MTB brake calipers, a powerful and unique setup, with 180mm rotors as standard.

Equipped with a dropper post as standard.
A dropper post, a standard item on MTBs, is incredibly useful for off-road descents and even at traffic lights, and comes standard.
The lever is located below the left brake lever, making it easy to operate.

The rear end features a sliding dropout, allowing you to freely adjust the wheel position.
You can move it forward for a more nimble feel or backward for increased stability, adjusting it to your preference.
If shifting becomes a hassle, you can even remove everything and convert it to a single speed!

The top tube, down tube, and seat stays all feature multiple mounting points for carrying luggage. This incredibly versatile bike allows you to aggressively tackle off-road trails while also being able to pack and carry gear.

When you actually ride it, it feels strange – like a mountain bike in terms of off-road capability, yet with drop handlebars.
When you're gripping the handlebars and riding straight, it feels like a road or gravel bike, but the moment you hit an off-road section or a curve, the MTB aspect emerges – it's a peculiar riding experience.
It features a 100mm suspension fork, a geometry completely geared for off-road, and the versatile handlebar positions unique to drop bars.
There are many types of bicycles in the world, but the LBF might just be at the very heart of it all.

To allow you to experience this unique ride, we currently have a Kona LBF test bike available in our store.
If you're considering purchasing, please come and try it out!
