[650B and 700c] Enjoy MAVIC wheel customization with two sizes

Those using 650B wheels should try 700c, and those using 700c should try 650B.

By swapping between the two wheel sizes, you can enjoy a completely different riding experience on the same bicycle.

If you want to ride faster, choose 700c; if you seek milder comfort, go for 650B.

This wheel customization changes the ride feel of the same bike. We're currently holding a MAVIC wheel test ride event, so please come and try it out.

Details about the MAVIC wheel test ride event can be found here.

During the test ride event, our staff member Ikeda also tried out the MAVIC ALL ROAD SL (650B) wheels.

The firm "acceleration" from a standstill and the soft "shock absorption" when going over bumps.

This "mild wheelset," which combines both, seems perfect for long rides exceeding 100km!

↓Here is the YouTube video.

Staff member Takenoshita upgraded the wheels on his beloved Surly Straggler to MAVIC ALL ROAD SL (700c).

He had been using the stock wheels for many years, but they were starting to show wear, so he took this opportunity to replace them.

He said, "I want to ride faster, more swiftly!"

Now, the two most popular wheelsets at the wheel test ride event are these:

MAVIC ALLROAD SL DISC (700C) ¥110,000 → ¥99,900 (with coupon)

MAVIC ALLROAD SL ROAD+ (650B) ¥110,000 → ¥99,900 (with coupon)

The All Road SL is MAVIC's top-of-the-line aluminum rim model, with "tubeless, tapeless, hookless" as its three main features.

In particular, the tapeless design prevents air leaks from inside the rim, making tire setup easier.

There's no need to re-apply rim tape, making it cost-effective and recommended for heavy users who frequently change tires.
