【KONA SUTRA LTD】 2026 models have just arrived!

The 2026 model complete bike of the adventure bike that can go anywhere, the KONA SUTRA LTD, has finally arrived.
While the frame specifications remain the same as the previous year's model, some of the complete bike parts have been changed. I'll also introduce some niche details not found in the catalog.

50cm (recommended for riders around 165-170cm tall)
52cm (recommended for riders around 170-175cm tall)
Price: 335,500 yen (tax included)
The price is about 30,000 yen higher than the previous model, but the specifications have been changed to match that. It's looking quite good this year too!
Now, this year's SUTRA LTD comes in a clean Gloss Bone color.
The change in frame color really gives it a fresh look.
I get the impression that Brooks leather saddles and silver parts would look great on it with future customization.
The biggest change for the 2026 model is likely the components.
Shimano GRX brake levers are now standard equipment, and it has been upgraded to "12-speed" gearing.
The right lever is an 820 series hydraulic lever, and the left lever is for the dropper post.
The brake calipers have also been changed to the Shimano GRX 820 series.
They are well-regarded for their braking power and ease of maintenance, ensuring reliable braking on any terrain.
And this is another great change!
The sprocket now comes standard with a Shimano DEORE 10-51T.
The previous model had an 11-42T sprocket as standard, but now a wider range of gears is available.
I personally often wished for more gears when riding on mountain roads or touring with luggage on inclines, and this solves that problem.
With the change in the sprocket, the freebody has been updated from HG type to the Micro Spline standard.
This makes upgrading easier, allowing for the use of various brands' 12-speed gears.
The rims are WTB KOM TEAM. The tires are Maxxis Recon Race 29x2.25.
Of course, they are tubeless-ready.
If you want to improve ride comfort, convert them to tubeless from the start!
By the way, the KONA SUTRA LTD complete bike comes with tubeless valves as standard.
So, you only need sealant to convert to tubeless.
The dropper post continues to be the "TranzX Dropper +RAD Internal 31.6mm."
This is actually a well-designed product where you can freely adjust the stroke length by turning the dial at the bottom.
The ability to easily change it by 30mm without tools is also a nice feature.
Well, I apologize for this so early in 2026, but the "Kona Sutra LTD Complete Bike" has already started selling out.
The size 48cm model shown in the photo is already sold out from pre-orders.
Only a very limited number of other sizes remain.
Also, the KONA SUTRA LTD frameset in 52cm is sold out, but other sizes are still available for order.
