KONA SUTRA LTD Customization Introduction Vol. 2

Hello, this is Ikeda from grumpy.

The KONA SUTRA LTD is a gravel adventure bike that can be ridden almost anywhere.

Among the many gravel bikes, it's a distinctive model, but there's a SUTRA LTD that's become even more unique through frame modification and paintwork.

It was incredibly cool, so I'd like to introduce it here.

The first one is this.

We received a second order from a customer who already owned a SUTRA LTD.

This is a bike where the frame itself was modified to be more user-friendly.

Originally, the SUTRA LTD has a hole in the seat tube for the dropper post cable to enter.

However, since the owner declared "I won't be using a dropper post!", we plugged the hole for a cleaner look.

The dropper post cable guide, which is also on the downtube, was removed as well, resulting in a sleeker appearance!

And then, the bottom bracket area.

We added a cable guide here, which wasn't originally present, to prevent contact with the tire and chainring.

This is a detail that only someone who has used a SUTRA LTD before would notice!

The handlebars are Ritchey VentureMax.

They flare out in a "figure-eight" shape, making them easy to control during off-road riding.

The top of the bars is flat, and the drop section has contours, making them unique handlebars that fit the palm of your hand.

The stem is a TUNE Geiles Teil 4.0, 50mm in length.

While there are fewer options for short stems, TUNE stands out for offering them with beautiful silhouettes.

It looks great paired with the White Industries headset and headset spacers!

For the crankset, we chose 5DEV Road / Gravel, and a Wolftooth chainring. The cutouts on the arms are truly unforgettable!
