The Grumpy Original Road Bike "KOGO" is handmade in Hiroshima.

It's a traditional horizontal chromoly frame road bike that can accommodate wider 700x32c tires.

This time, we'd like to introduce a custom KOGO bike.

The customer who placed this order is in the 160cm height range.

With the KOGO frameset, you can freely specify the length of the top tube and seat tube.

For this custom frame, the top tube is set at 520mm and the seat tube at 500mm.

Even petite individuals can have a horizontal frame shape, making it ideal for those who prefer a traditional look.

We chose a Chris King NOTHREADSET in blue for the headset.

This is a crucial part that connects the frame and fork, and with its wide range of colors, it also serves as a great accent!

We added an optional outer cable adjuster on the downtube to make cable maintenance easier.

We opted for a Thomson straight seatpost.

It's a super standard item that is robust, provides strong hold, and is unaffected by trends.

The customer brought their favorite saddle model, and we installed it.

"NISSEN cables" are recommended for use with KOGO. Since KOGO often uses rim brakes and mechanical derailleurs, NISSEN cables are a perfect match, offering a nice accent and smooth wire operation.

We installed a PDW Sparrow Cage bottle cage. The color perfectly matches KOGO's basic pearl white.

KOGO allows the bottle cage to be mounted as low as possible on the frame, so a frame bag can also be attached in the empty space above it.

We installed MAVIC KSYRIUM SL wheels. These are tubeless-ready rim brake wheelsets without rim tape.

While disc brakes are becoming mainstream for bicycles, we are truly grateful to MAVIC for continuing to offer rim brake wheels with the latest specifications.

Of course, they pair perfectly with KOGO! The KSYRIUM SL wheels do not have rim tape and are easy to set up as tubeless.

This wheelset is also recommended for those who want to try tubeless for the first time.

The tires are GoodYear Eagle F1 R, installed in a tubeless setup.

KOGO framesets are road bikes compatible with wider tires.

In a tubeless setup, using 28-32c tires provides a mild ride that absorbs minor vibrations well. This is also recommended for long rides.

We added an optional chain hook for easier use when traveling by bike or car.

This item keeps the chain from flailing around by hooking it when the rear wheel is removed.

It's a small hook, but surprisingly convenient.

KOGO frames are manufactured and painted in Hiroshima.

While most bicycles are produced overseas, we hope to revitalize Japanese bicycle manufacturing by gradually establishing local production bases closer to home.

Of course, the deer and torii gate headbadge is also made in Hiroshima.

KOGO's standard headbadge is made of brass, but there is also a titanium model that is lighter and less prone to aging.
