For those considering road bike or gravel road helmets

We recommend Giro helmets because they are used in races, have a simple appearance, and are easy to coordinate with understated jersey designs like Rapha and 7mesh, as well as T-shirts and shorts.

We offer five types of on-road helmets, ranging from aero to standard shapes. The fit is mainly Asian fit, but some models also have a global fit. Giro helmets seem to have a less mushroom-like appearance than Smith or POC helmets.

Safety performance has improved, and there are two main types of protection systems: MIPS and SPHERICAL. MIPS has become the standard for safety.

SPHERICAL offers 30% more impact absorption than conventional MIPS. The outer shell is divided into two parts, which move independently and slide to absorb impact. This makes the helmet interior cleaner and improves ventilation and fit.
