Chapter 2: Staff Review after 3 Months of Using AO
This is Murakami, and the knee I injured on a long ride at the end of the year has finally healed.
It's been three months since I started riding Chapter 2's AO,
so I'd like to share some things I've noticed.
I ride the AO almost every day, including my commute,
and on holidays, I fully enjoy it by going day camping or on long rides of 200km one way.
What kind of frame is Chapter 2's AO?
It's a "playable bike" that makes you want to go on adventures to unexplored lands.
As expected of a gravel adventure bike, it has bottle cage mounts everywhere,
allowing for the attachment of fenders and carriers.
It also has unique features with a lot of gimmicks, such as being able to adjust the ride feel to your liking by sliding the position of the rear axle.

The ride feel is a soft ride with a core.
On a 200km long ride, coupled with the thick tires, I had a very comfortable cycling experience.
Even for an average cyclist like me, with 700x47c tires, I could cruise at 30km/h,
and I was so impressed by how well it rode that I mistakenly thought I had become faster...

For day camping, I loaded firewood on the OldmanMountain front rack
and spent a leisurely day enjoying bonfire cooking.

I've only mentioned the good points so far,
but of course, there are also bad points.
That is, it's difficult to dance on ascents.
This is a characteristic of the bike,
gravel bikes have higher handlebars and a closer distance to the saddle compared to road bikes.
So, there are times when it's difficult to get into a forward-leaning posture, such as when climbing steep grades.
For those who want a more road-bike-like ride,
I recommend the KAHA gravel racer model.

The KAHA has a T47 bottom bracket, and the head tube is a large 1.5" diameter top and bottom, like the TOA and KOKO,
allowing for the installation of a suspension fork.
The top tube is also longer, resulting in a geometry that makes it easier to adopt a forward-leaning posture.
The AO is available for test rides at our store.
Currently, one S-size TUHUA (black) frameset is available for immediate delivery.
We look forward to hearing from you!
