We received an early order for the new WTB Vulpine, so we went ahead and installed it!

WTB has released a new lightweight tire focused on gravel racing: "Vulpine".

This tire is so light that you can feel it just by holding it, even without weighing it.

Our staff have actually used it and experienced its light ride quality.

Since a customer quickly ordered these high-performance tires, we'll proceed with the tire change!

While we're at it, we'll compare the weight with the old tires.

Since the previous sealant was corrosive to aluminum rims,

we replaced it with Muc-Off sealant, which is ammonia-free and gentle on aluminum rims.

It's best to clean the rims this thoroughly.

The tire will pop right into place.

Mavic All-Road SL is tapeless, making the work very easy.

It's all good, as it saves on rim tape costs too.

Also, it pairs well with the Vulpine. The bead seats easily with a floor pump.

Next, a weight comparison with the old tires (Teravail Washburn).

The weight difference is 70g per tire.

That's a total weight reduction of 140g for the front and rear!

The tires alone are over 100g lighter. WTB is amazing...
