One of Grumpy's most popular MTBs, the Surly Karate Monkey, is back in stock in Japan! We currently have all sizes in stock and can prepare them for you immediately.

We are also very grateful for the increasing number of inquiries from customers.

Therefore, to give a push to those of you who are considering purchasing a Karate Monkey, we are starting a "Free Karate Monkey Paint Campaign!"

Customers who purchase a complete Surly Karate Monkey bike will have their frame set painted in their favorite color with no upcharge.

The paint will be a robust powder coating, the same as Surly's standard paint, and will be a single color only.

This is the paint shop's website. Please choose a color here and specify it when ordering. Please note that some special colors may require an upcharge.

The popular RAW color will also be available at a special price during the campaign period.

Normally 55,000 yen, it will be offered for approximately 45,000 yen.

Surly logo stickers are sold separately. If you need them, please let us know. A sticker set costs around 3,000 yen.

If you customize parts with a complete bike, the installation fee will be waived.

It's a better deal than installing them later, such as a Chris King headset or dropper seatpost.
