For 6 or 7 years, I've used it without hesitation for bike commuting, long rides, in the rain, and even through mud, and it's still going strong.
The top cover's seating surface is made of leather. It develops a different kind of character with use compared to fully leather saddles.
Although it's quite scratched up, the top cover doesn't look like it's about to tear, and it seems like it will last a long time.
