Old Man Mountain racks attach securely to carbon frames and look great.
I'm Murakami, a staff member with many hobbies.
The other day, I suddenly wanted to go camping,
so I put a front rack on my CHAPTER2 AO
and went on a day trip camping.

The rack I chose was
Compared to the Divide that staff member Shimizu previously installed on his eMTB,
this is a lighter model, designed for loading items on top of the platform.

Normally, racks cannot be mounted on carbon frames,
but this rack,
when combined with the optional fit kit,
can be mounted using thru-axles or quick releases.
The wide deck, with a load capacity of 11kg,
was a perfect fit for a bundle of firewood 👍

With this,
I can even go on day camps where I want to enjoy a bonfire
by bicycle.
I went to Yanagase Campground, about 15km north of Hiroshima City.
It's a free campground, and you can come and go as you please.
In Hiroshima, it's the closest and most popular campground.
Since it was February 9th (Niku Day, which means "Meat Day"), I splurged a bit and ate steak.

Camp food is the best.
The outdoor spices make the food taste even better than usual.
It was much easier to get to than I imagined,
so I might be hooked for a while...
Just going to a nearby campground
gives you a little taste of a trip,
and it was so much fun!
