Camp touring to the island where 500 rabbits live, seeking healing
I recently went on a camping trip,
and the campsite was so lovely and relaxing.

The place I went to this time was a small island called “Okunoshima”.
You can get there by a 10-minute ferry ride from Tadanoumi Port in Takehara.
It was a long ride, 80km one way from Hiroshima city.
I set off at a leisurely pace, feeling like I was on a journey.

I left at 6 AM, and after about an hour of riding, my stomach was active and I was starving.
I had a breakfast set meal at the coffee shop "Bun" in Kure.

I took a break in front of the submarine. After my stomach settled, I set off again.

I followed the Sazanami Kaido road, which has few climbs.
To my right was the calm Seto Inland Sea. The view was amazing!

For lunch, I went to "Drive-in Nada," which is rumored to have delicious seafood.
I had the sea bream ara-dashi set meal, and it was as delicious as rumored.

On the way, I did a little sightseeing in Takehara and then arrived at Tadanoumi Port.

The front is obviously heavy, lol.
I've been wanting a large-capacity saddlebag lately.

As soon as I got off the ferry, the island's rabbits immediately came to greet me.

After checking into the campsite,
I immediately set up my base for the night.
Setup was complete in 15 minutes! Thanks to the Luna Solo tent.

For dinner, I had bagna cauda and chicken steak (with wasabi soy sauce), which was a huge success.

The next day, after packing up, I did a little sightseeing around the island.
Okunoshima was actually once called "the island erased from maps" because it had a poison gas factory.
Because of this history, the factory and gun battery ruins from that time remain as they were.

It's a small island, but it was very interesting and had a lot to see!
The campsite was clean and comfortable, so
please go on a cycling trip there too.
Also, I introduced the bike packing equipment from that day
on YouTube, so please take a look.
