I assembled the Chapter2 gravel road bike "AO."

My passion for cycling has been reignited since I got a carbon gravel road bike. I'm Murakami, a staff member here.

The bike I'm riding is a Chapter2 AO.

The deciding factor for my purchase was the design of the Limited model.

I didn't really look at the specs. (laughs)

It's not the latest color, but I fell in love at first sight with the design under the downtube.

It's incredibly cute.

I believe that while bicycles are fun to ride,

it's also important to enjoy looking at them!

I'm sure I'm not the only one who enjoys a delicious cup of coffee

while looking at their bike at a cafe.

Although I'm not someone who pays much attention to specs,

I chose the GRX Di2 for the components.

I had never experienced Di2 before, so I installed it out of curiosity.

When synchronized with a cyclocomputer, the hidden switches on the STI lever allow you to

change pages, start/stop recording, which is convenient, and above all,

makes cycling more enjoyable.

For the wheels, I have ZIPP 303s with TERAVAIL CANNONBALL 700-47c.

I tried putting thick tires on wheels that are often used for road bikes.

It might be surprising, but

ZIPP 303s are compatible with tire widths from 25mm to 65mm,

so they can also be used for gravel bikes.

I went for a gravel ride (more like a trail ride) in the nearby mountains,

and I strongly felt the acceleration and off-road capability that comes from the lightness of carbon.

When carrying the bike, it's so comfortable that I think, "Lightness is justice after all..."

If I switch to 650B wheels, the off-road capability will further improve, which sounds fun.

I'll be riding the AO a lot and reviewing it more and more, so
