We're adding four new standard colors to Sig.Rando!

We are adding four new standard colors for Sig.Rando.

You can choose your favorite color from a total of eight options, with no change in the frameset or complete bike prices.

Here are the newly added standard colors.

*All standard colors are solid paint, and the "Sig. Rando" logo will be a white decal.

[Crema]

The image is of the silken crema on an espresso.

Since Grumpy has an adjacent cafe, this is a standard color that naturally catches our eye every day.

Crema refers to the rich, fine foam that floats on top of an espresso, an essential part of a delicious espresso.

We wanted to create a bike color that is rooted in daily life, like daily coffee.

This color was created with that thought in mind.

[Kaki (Persimmon)]

In late autumn, there was a persimmon tree on the mountain pass that our painter commuted on.

Its persimmons went unnoticed and unpicked, ripening on the tree.

When the fruit was ripe enough to become translucent, the color illuminated by the evening sun was incredibly beautiful.

This color, Kaki, was created with the desire to convey this beauty.

[Titanium]

Once you get deeply into cycling as a hobby, you will eventually encounter "titanium."

Its subtly gleaming silver is a mysterious color that pairs well with parts of any color.

The paint surface has a matte finish, giving it a calm, mature impression.

Titanium was created with the desire for a color that you won't tire of and can enjoy for a long time.

[Yomogi (Mugwort)]

Yomogi is not a special plant; it has always been close to us, unchanged over time.

It has been used as medicine, in mochi, and as tea for many years.

It has a classic atmosphere and good coloration, a color that blends into everyday life.

Yomogi was created with that thought in mind.

The above four colors are the newly added standard colors for Sig. Rando.

You can still choose the previous standard colors: "Setouchi," "Icho," "Momiji," and "Nashiji."

Below are the four previous standard colors of Sig. Rando.

Four colors that evoke Japan, born from experiences gained in the Hiroshima field.

Let's reintroduce the origins of these colors.

[Setouchi]

It's like the nutrient-rich water flowing from the mountains into the Japanese sea surrounded by islands.

Actually, I thought a fresher color would be good.

However, when the Grumpy painter was sailing years ago, a bitter memory of capsizing in the Seto Inland Sea prevented that.

The Seto Inland Sea, sometimes calm, sometimes harsh.

We aimed to create a color that accompanies everyday life and won't get boring, like the sea.

[Icho]

Ginkgo leaves in the process of changing color, slightly greenish, with a muted, subdued feel.

The yellow colors found in nature are difficult to describe in a single word; they are beautiful colors.

What the Grumpy painter always thinks about when going into the autumn mountains.

That is, there are no glittering primary colors in nature.

The mountain colors he always saw were slightly muted intermediate tones.

We aimed to create a mountain color that blends into the abundant nature.

[Momiji]

A traditional Japanese color known to all, the beauty of autumn foliage, like traditional crafts.

Something that has blended into Japan, appearing in lacquerware, torii gates of shrines, vermilion inkpads for seals, and even in the Manyoshu anthology.

What Takenoshita, who loves art, wanted to incorporate was the image of "wa" (Japanese harmony/style).

A historical color that exudes dignity despite its modesty.

We aimed to create such a vermilion color, passed down in Japan.

[Nashiji]

Black is often used as a safe color. However, this is not just any black.

When looking at traditional Japanese lacquerware trays and boxes, one realizes that the colors enhance each other.

The gold and silver details and patterns within the colors emphasize each other, making them exquisite masterpieces.

Nashiji is the name of a technique for enhancing colors.

Black stands out because there is something shining. It can shine because there is black.

I believe there is definitely such a duality of colors.

We aimed to create a color that makes "black a shining presence."

We will be holding a Sig. Rando test ride event at Branch Coffee in Saijo City, Ehime Prefecture.

Seeing is believing; riding is understanding. We look forward to your visit.

Time: 11:00 AM - 6:00 PM (same as Branch Coffee's business hours)
