[Sig. Rando Bike Custom]
One of the great things about the Sig.Rando is how easy it is to transfer parts from your old bike.
The frameset uses common standards, so you can still use your old parts as they are.
This time, we'll introduce a custom Sig.Rando bike with parts swapped over from a customer's Surly Cross-Check.
↓Also featured in this YouTube video.

Instead of using all new parts, one option is to install parts you've already been using or have left over.
The Sig.Rando uses common standards adopted by many brands, making it easy to match part specifications.

The frame color is an original persimmon color with a blue metallic logo.
The persimmon color is an original color conceived by Grumpy's painter, Takenoshita.
It has a profound story: "the color of ripe persimmons in the mountains in late autumn, illuminated by the sun," and it's one of Grumpy's popular colors.

The handlebars feature parts transplanted from the Cross-Check.
The bracket section was also updated from black to white.
The bar tape is ESI silicone bar tape, which is easy to grip even with bare hands.

The WTB saddle was transferred directly.
A well-used saddle is more comfortable than a new one, isn't it?
Something that fits your rear is hard to let go of, even when you switch bikes.

Wikkit wheels are popular as well-balanced all-round wheels.
They are also popular for their good compatibility with tubeless tires and ease of setup.

The Surly Cross-Check uses rim brakes, while the Sig.Rando uses disc brakes.
Therefore, the wheels, which are not compatible, could not be transferred, so new disc brake compatible ones were purchased.

The tires are Teravail Rampart 650bx47c. These are all-round tires that can be used for everything from city riding to long rides and gravel.
They are a basic model for road riding, so I'd like everyone to try them at least once.

Full fenders are Simworks Flat 65.
These are the widest fenders that can be installed on the Sig.Rando, and they can even be used with 27.5x2.22 tires.
To allow for future customs, such as switching to wider tires, the setup was designed with plenty of clearance.

Equipped with Growtac Equal Brakes, mechanical disc brakes known for their colorful lineup, high precision, and ease of setup.
They are a new brand from a Japanese manufacturer, but they are rapidly gaining popularity at our shop!
They are also compatible with various brake levers, making them recommended for custom enthusiasts.

Let's enjoy future cycling with your new bike!
