[Panasonic FCXCC02 Bike Custom]

Traditional horizontal frame, chromoly frame, rim brakes.

The Panasonic FCXCC02 cyclocross (rim brake) model is popular with those who appreciate classic bicycles.

For this custom build, we selected parts based on a request for a bike that would mainly be used for city riding but also capable of occasional 100km rides.

We chose a robust cyclocross bike as the base, so it can handle off-road riding if the owner becomes interested in it later.

Although disc brakes are the current mainstream, the simplicity of rim brakes is also cool!

It's no exaggeration to say that we are in the golden age of disc brakes.

This rim brake model was actually once discontinued from the lineup.

However, due to its high level of perfection, there were many strong fans who demanded its revival, and it was re-released in recent years.

It's a modern classic model that continues to be sold today and is popular with adults who "get it."

Now, let's introduce this custom build.

The handlebars are Easton's EA70AX gravel road handlebars.

The ends flare outwards, allowing for a firm grip even when riding on rough terrain like cyclocross or gravel.

The bar tape is ESI silicone bar tape.

It's soft and non-slip, making it comfortable to grip even with bare hands. With gloves, it would be superb.

The stem is a Thomson X4. 

It has strong clamping force, holding the handlebars firmly even on bumpy roads.

The White Industries headset spacers and headset are a splash of accent pink.

Shimano mini V-brakes are installed, which can be operated with road brake levers.

If you're looking for stopping power with rim brakes, these are the first brakes to consider. 

The saddle is a Brooks C17 All Weather.

As the name suggests, it's easy to use in any weather, and if it gets wet, it dries quickly with a simple wipe.

It's also recommended for those who ride their bikes during the rainy season or in the rain.

The tires are Teravail Rampart 700x32c.

These tires are easy to use for long rides over 100km, characterized by their smooth ride and high durability.

The rims are MAVIC OPEN PRO UST.

They are highly accurate and of good quality. If you're building a "good wheelset," these are a must-consider item.

The front and rear hubs are White Industries T11.

The shine of the polished color is attractive, and it's hard to find hubs this shiny from other manufacturers.

The light rotation and high durability are also reasons to choose White Industries.

The crankset is the White Industries R30 series.

The silver crank arms and black chainring are well-balanced.

This part is also known as the "face of the bicycle." Make it look cool!

The pedals are MKS XC-3.

These are classic pedals that are easy to use with sneakers or sandals.

Since MTB pedals are the basis for this model, they have excellent mud shedding, and even if your shoes get muddy on rough roads, dirt is less likely to clog them.

This is also a recommended item for everyday use.
