Bombtrack is a bicycle brand based in Cologne, Germany.

Their models are characterized by their extreme durability, based on extraordinary experiences such as grueling gravel races and transcontinental touring.

Many of the bicycles in their lineup feature steel frames because steel is a robust material that can handle tough rides and is also easy to repair if it breaks.

Bombtrack also uploads ride videos to YouTube, so here are a few. You can see that their bikes are born from these kinds of riding experiences.

Now, the new Bombtrack model that has arrived at Grumpy is the versatile "ARISE."

This unique bicycle features drop handlebars, a steel frame, and single-speed gearing.

The [ARISE] is a highly expandable model that allows you to keep the initial cost down and customize it as needed.

It covers a wide range of uses, from serious adventure to everyday commuting, and the more you look at it, the more you realize the detailed mechanisms were created by cycling enthusiasts.

It's perfect for those who want to use one bike for racing, camping, and daily use.

The frameset has numerous eyelets at various points, allowing for the attachment of racks, cages, and all sorts of accessories. You'll have no trouble carrying your luggage.

The frame has a spoke holder, allowing you to store spare spokes.

This is for use as a spare when spokes break due to heavy load transport or falls.

While it's best not to have to use them, they can be surprisingly useful when traveling in Japan or around the world.

The rear end is sliding, making it easy to set up for both single-speed and geared configurations.

It looks good too, as you can tension the chain simply without using a tensioner!

The rear hub is a single-speed conversion of an 11-speed hub using spacers.

So, if you decide to switch to a geared setup, it's easy to change.

Microshift Advent series would likely be a good fit!

The front fork and frame are prepared with dedicated routing for internal dynamo hub cables.

Since the electrical wires pass through the inside of the frame, the appearance remains clean even when converted to a dynamo.

The rims are WTB STi19, compatible with tubeless-ready setups.

However, the tires are tubed, so if you decide to switch to a tubeless-ready specification, you should replace the tires at the same time.
