What parts are included with the "Chapter2 AO" staff?

Bicycles, cameras, clothes, and so on and so forth...

The season where I can't suppress my materialistic desires has arrived.

In a previous article, I wrote about What I learned from riding the Chapter2 AO every day.

This time, I'll review the parts I chose for that AO and

what I thought after using them for a while.

All Chapter2 bikes are sold as framesets only,

so you'll need to prepare components, wheels, saddles, etc. separately to ride them.

I hope this will be helpful for those who don't know what to choose because there are so many parts needed!

Now, let's start with the components.

I wasn't very interested in electronic shifting until now,

but I thought I'd give it a try and chose the Shimano GRX Di2.

Recent components have excellent shifting performance, so I'm completely satisfied with the 11-speed GRX.

In addition, with electronic shifting, there's no wire stretch causing shifting issues or degradation leading to sluggish movement, unlike mechanical shifting.

As long as it's charged, it shifts precisely every time.

I think reducing maintenance frequency is a thoughtful design for users.

For the saddle, I chose the REPENTE ARTAX GLM.

It's an Italian brand, and the price is reasonable for the quality of the product.

The shape of the padding is very well made,

so even for me, who has trouble finding a saddle that fits, it's comfortable and causes no pain.

It's also lightweight at about 165g.

If you're concerned about saddle fit,

Finally, the wheels are ZIPP 303s.

With a rim height of 45mm for both front and rear, these are all-around wheels with a slightly taller profile.

When I used to ride a road racer, I admired deep-section rims, so I chose them purely for their appearance.

The compatible tire size is 25~55mm, which unexpectedly makes them suitable for gravel bikes,

and currently, I'm riding them with 700-47c tires.

Even with thick tires, I can feel the aero benefits during high-speed cruising,

and I'm completely satisfied with being able to tackle off-road trails without worrying.

However, the stiff rim makes it difficult to ride on the rough trails I sometimes go on, as it tends to bounce around.

When riding on such rough roads, Mavic All-Road with lower rim height might be better.
