What is Bag a Bond from ADCANATHA, a brand specializing in gravel bike packing?
Hello, this is Ikeda from grumpy.
ADCANATHA is a handmade bag manufacturer that specializes in UL (ultralight) gear, primarily focusing on bike packing equipment for gravel rides and camping.
They offer many simple yet distinctive bags, characterized by their unique originality that sets them apart. However, these popular items consistently sell out immediately upon arrival.
This time, we are finally able to introduce them to you.
We've also featured them on YouTube.
ADCANATHA is a brand where each item is handmade by its creator, Mr. Hayakawa.
He is also a veteran cyclist who participates in brevets and gravel rides, and his products are continuously updated through daily experimentation.
Looking at the lineup, you'll be amazed at how meticulously crafted each item is.
Packed with the experience of a cyclist, the designs consider even the slightest stresses encountered when using bike bags, such as whether they can withstand vibrations on off-road terrain or if they interfere with the installation of front lights.
(The photos were taken when Mr. Hayakawa visited us around summer.)

One of ADCANATHA's items is the "Bag a Bond."
The Bag a Bond is a frame bag designed to maximize every bit of storage capacity.
It's made to be fully utilized, both inside and out.

The right side of the bag features a large L-shaped opening, allowing access to every corner from front to back, making it easy to store and retrieve items like bonfire grates and long poles.

The outer strap on the right side can be used to hold gloves.
It's surprisingly hard to find a place for gloves when you park, especially when they're sweaty. This solves that problem!

This bungee cord is not just for large items; its appeal lies in its versatility, allowing for effective use with a bit of ingenuity.
For instance, I use it to dry my hand towel after visiting a hot spring.
By spreading out the towel and securing it with the top bungee cord, it dries naturally in the wind while I ride.

The Bag a Bond comes in two types, depending on the fabric. While X-Pac is sufficiently lightweight, if you're looking for something even lighter, try the DCF Hybrid.
ADCANATHA Bag a Bond X-Pac Price: 27,500 yen
ADCANATHA Bag a Bond DCF Hybrid Price: 31,900 yen
ADCANATHA offers other bags in their lineup, all of which are incredibly well-designed and fascinating! Be sure to check them out!
